Splash about in Calne for half-term

Calne youngsters are invited to take part in a free two-day sports event at the Youth Development Centre. The event, organised by children’s charity Splash, will take place on Thursday, May 30 and Friday, May 31, from 11am to 2pm. Splash is a Wiltshire charity which aims to support young people by providing holiday and leisure activities. The event is aimed at 12 to 16-year-olds who will have the chance to join in with football, volleyball, cricket and ultimate Frisbee. Splash operations manager Simone Matthews said: “This is something we’re building in Calne. We have things planned for summer as well.”
