WAYLANDS couple Joseph and Jenny Hughes have lit up their garden again this year with a charity Christmas display.
For the 12th year running they have put together the Christmas lights to raise money for charity and this year’s good cause is Macmillan Cancer Support.
The Devizes couple have previously collected money for Cancer Research and Wiltshire Air Ambulance, raising more than £3,000 in total.
Mrs Hughes said: “We are hoping this year will be better, last year wasn’t as good because of all the rain and people didn’t want to get out of their cars to donate.”
The winter wonderland took Mr Hughes, 58, almost two months to sort out and put up.
He said: “The trees are lit up and we’ve got blow-up Father Christmases, polar bears, seals and penguins.
"New for this year we also have two moving reindeer.”
Mrs Hughes said: “Everyone has said it is the best we have ever done.”
Eastleigh Fish Bar in Eastleigh Road, Devizes, has a collection box for donations on behalf of Mr and Mrs Hughes.
