Fundraisers who slept out all night in St Andrews' churchyard in Chippenham have raised more than £7,000 for homelessness charity Doorway.
A total of 38 people braved freezing temperatures for the sleepout, including Gazette reporter Scott McPherson, chief photographer Diane Vose and editor Gary Lawrence.
Lisa Lewis of Doorway, one of the organisers of the event, said: "It has been a great turnout from people and we hope that there is still more money to come in."
The event was organised with the support of CVS North Wiltshire and the Salvation Army.
St John Ambulance staff were also on hand in case of medical emergencies but there were none to deal with.
Volunteers were up at 6am to provide the fundraisers with tea and bacon sandwiches.
