Concern is growing for the whereabouts of a 38-year-old man who went missing from his home in Marshfield, near Chippenham.
Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for help in tracing George Plaister, who has been missing since September 24.
He was last seen in Lydbrook in Gloucestershire on Thursday night when he was seen at a friend’s holiday home. It is thought he may still be in the Lydbrook or Monmouth area.
Mr Plaister is believed to be cycling and sleeping in a tent.
Police are concerned for his welfare, as he is said to be vulnerable and his behaviour in going missing for so long is out of character.
He is thought to be wearing blue jeans and a tight fitted green waxed jacket. He is 6ft, of slim build, dark hair and now has a full beard.
Anyone who sees him, or who has any information, is asked to call Avon and Somerset Police on 101, quoting reference MP2427/14.
