Tributes have been paid to Calne councillor Tony Trotman, who died on Thursday, November 30.

Cllr Trotman served Calne Town Council for over 20 years and was mayor on four occasions.

He had previously been a member of both Wiltshire County Council and North Wiltshire District Council.

Councillor Richard Clewer, leader of Wiltshire Council, said: "I am sorry to hear the sad news of the passing of Councillor Tony Trotman.

“My thoughts are with his family and friends at this very difficult time.
