I WONDER how many of your readers have considered the tens of thousands of British military who gave their lives during the First and Second World Wars to keep this country from being under the control of Europe (Germany for one example). Perhaps when they come to put a cross on their voting paper on June 23, they should consider this, not forgetting the long-term implication of voting ‘remain’.
I would suggest that their personal short-term employment prospects are of very small consequence when looking at the situation which will no doubt further soon materialise as a result of such a vote.
So, I urge them to think hard and long term before they put that cross please.
