May I say thank you for the brilliant service my wife received after a stroke on Tuesday, January 13, at approximately 4.30pm.

The ambulance came from Chippenham, arrived promptly and treated my wife on the way to A&E at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon.

The A&E department were waiting for my wife to arrive. On arrival they quickly treated her with the appropriate drugs for her stroke. They were brilliant.

She was then taken to Falcon ward where she was treated with care and dedication. She was sent home on Friday, January 16.

I cannot thank all those involved enough – the service was first class.
