As an active choir member, and on behalf of all choir members, I would like to thank Grenville Jones, our leader, for starting up three years ago our Devizes Good Afternoon Choir at St Andrew’s Church, Long Street, every Friday afternoon from 2–4pm, in aid of his Golden Oldies charity.
We have all thoroughly benefitted, and enjoyed singing in rehearsals and in our various events in Devizes and elsewhere.
Our thanks are also due to the Devizes audience for their warm enthusiasm with which we have been received at these events and for their continued support.
It is all very much appreciated by Grenville and the choir.
