Should I have put my boaad beans in last week? The packet said they could go in the ground in February but now we've hada couple of bleedin' frosts! And what about beetrot? It say stick the seeds straight in the ground but would I be better off starting them in pots in the plastic-covered thingy that I got from Argos?
I'm still new to this gardening lark. Chard and rocket grew last year. As did lettuce and, to a certain extent, Kale. Toms, sprouts and purple sprouting were disasters.
All advice would be appreciated. In fact, is there a forum for local gardening tips anywhere?
