Swindon Town fans are still being made to wait as the Andrew Fitton takeover is yet to be completed.
It was hoped the deal would have been wrapped up by 3pm this afternoon but now, it is believed, it will finally go through sometime this evening.
Consortium member Jeremy Wray is confident of a conclusion, along with a frustrated TrustSTFC chairman Paul Davis.
"I am 100 per cent convinced the deal will go through but it is a fitting epitaph for the current regime to go out in a shambles," said Davis.
