CHIPPENHAM claimed a second successive win in Davis Wood League North Division One.
Trailing to an early Ciren goal, they almost drew level when an attack from Ben Snell led to a through ball to Luke Morris who just could not reach to score in an empty net.
However, from a short corner, specialist Mark Knight fired an unstoppable drag flick into the top corner.
Knight then went from hero to villain by controlling an aerial above shoulder height resulting in a yellow card.
A communication error at the back allowed Ciren in for their second goal and Chippenham were unable to respond before half time.
After the break Sam Copeland, Snell and Ben Jones combined to allow Selwyn Widger to fire home the equaliser.
The under-pressure hosts suffered two yellow cards themselves, but Chippenham again conceded a weak goal to fall behind for a third time.
From the restart, George Claverley set up Widger for his second before Widger’s excellent vision set up Simon Walker for the winner.
