A strong second half performance gave Wootton Bassett victory in their opening Wilts & NE Somerset Division One match.
Captain Mike Davies scored the first goal of the game, but Bassett switched off and conceded two quick goals.
Midway through the half Bassett equalised through a Lawrence Winter reverse hit before a good passing move led to Matt Jakubiec firing home the third.
Bath equalised straight after half time, but a good pass into the D was pounced on by Anthony Matthews who slammed home his side’s fourth.
Jakubiec added his second in his first game for Bassett in three years, while Jake Nunns scored a sixth from a clumsy penalty corner routine.
Lawrence Winter added the final touch after two brilliant saves from the away goalkeeper to complete Bassett’s victory.
