DEVIZES Ladies went second in the West Clubs League North Division with a goal in each half.
They camped out in the opposition D for 90 per cent of the game, but solid defending from the Buccs meant they struggled to find the backboard.
Devizes won numerous short corners but again Buccs defence cleared them excellently.
Eventually a rebound shot by Laura Page which was heading for the top corner, was saved on the line by the shoulder of a Buccs defender and a penalty flick was awarded, which Lorna Myerscough converted into the top left corner.
The second half was much the same, with Buccs barely making it over the half way line.
A quick free hit by Page found an out of position Sam Herrick at the top of the D who fired in for Natalie Thomas to convert.
