Adver Sport’s Matt Edwards hands out his player ratings from Swindon Town’s with Bolton Wanderers this afternoon.

Lawrence Vigouroux: 7

Forced into action early on to deny Zach Clough and continued in that vein as he commanded his box well and looked assured with the ball at his feet.

Conor Thomas: 6

Playing out of position, he had a tough afternoon against the skilful Zach Clough but stuck to his task well.

Lloyd Jones: 8*

One of his best performances in recent weeks as he went about his business at the back in a professional manner and had some vital blocks.

Raphael Branco: 7

Had the difficult task of man-marking the physical Gary Madine but coped well for most of the game with a solid display wearing the captain's armband.

Fankaty Dabo: 7

Considering left-back isn’t his natural position, which showed at times, it was a fine debut for the young loanee.

Yaser Kasim: 6

Took his winning goal with absolute composure having had a quiet afternoon up to that point.

Ben Gladwin: 8

A confident performance from someone who looked happy to be back in a familiar environment. His goal nearly broke the net.

Charlie Colkett: 7

His skill with the ball at his feet was clear for all to see and he was not afraid to put on a show on debut with some fine distribution.

John Goddard: 7

His place was under threat with the recent incomings but proved why he kept his place, with a very adept performance.

Luke Norris: 7

A dogged performance from the Town striker as he worked tirelessly for the cause but had few clear sights of goal.

Islam Feruz: 6

His pace is lightning but looked like someone who hasn’t had much game time of late and was removed in the second half.

Subs

Jermaine Hylton (on for Feruz 60’): 6

His pace helped to open the game up late on and he worked hard to press high up the pitch.

Sean Murray (on for Colkett 90+4’): 6

A substitution just to wind down the clock.
