THIRTEEN gymnasts from Chippenham’s Moonraker Gymnastics Club took part in the Wiltshire Grades competition in Melksham.
Gymnasts were assessed against set criteria at ascending difficulty levels, aiming for a target score to pass their grade.
At women’s artistic Grade Four, six-year-olds Emmy Tayler and Hermione Ferris were joined by seven-year-old Emily Clark and performed well to easily pass their grade.
In women’s Artistic Grade Two, eight gymnasts passed - Florrie Strange, Kaitlyn Shone, Summer Taylor, Leah Bishop, Shawna Jones, Jocelyn Chillitupa, Emily Draper and Ellie Quaey.
At Women’s Artistic Grade One, Alannah Heneghan competed all four pieces without an error to pass the artistic grade one.
In the men’s Artistic event, Callum Johnstone was excellent at Grade Four, topping the overall standings in the boys’ competition on the way to passing his grade.
