WAYNE Hutchinson will miss the ride on last year's winner Godsmejudge in Saturday's Coral Scottish Grand National after suffering a knee injury in a fall at Towcester on Thursday.
Hutchinson came to grief three flights from the finish aboard the Richard Woollacott-trained Lady Garvagh in the first division of Towcester's mares' maiden hurdle and will sit out the action at Ayr over the next couple of days.
Trainer Alan King has booked Aidan Coleman to replace Hutchinson aboard Godsmejudge in Saturday's feature event.
King said: "He's damaged his knee and we're not sure if it's a cartlige problem or what it is at this stage.
"He's going to see the specialist over the weekend and we'll know more then.
"It's obviously disappointing for Wayne - there's never a good time to get injured."
