DEVIZES Netball Club’s Regional Squad were in action again on Sunday, hosting second-placed Babylon at Devizes Leisure Centre.
The home side won 53-34 taking them straight up into second place of the South West Regional League Three table, having fought their way out of relegation for the past two seasons but this year they have are currently second in the table as they break for Christmas.
Steph Bridewell was named player of the match.
Captain Vicki Sim, whose squad are currently without a head coach, said: “It was an uncertain start to the season so we knew we had to work harder and focus on each game.
“The team are looking forward to the last training session this week before they break for Christmas.
“The team are very excited about the second half of the season and potential promotion to Regional League Two.’’
