FOUR novice gymnasts from Chippenham Moonraker Gymnastics club took part in the Liberty Gymnastics Club two-piece event in Frome.
Competing against rivals from clubs across Wiltshire, Bristol and Somerset, the gymnasts competed routines on the asymmetric bars and floor exercise.
Twelve-year-old Charlotte Tate competed in one of the largest age groups of the day and showed a particularly good floor routine to finish inside the top 10 placings.
In the 13+ age group, the club earned a clean sweep of the podium with Grace Macklin-Day taking gold, Oriana Powell silver and Millie Strange bronze.
Strange was also rewarded for her performance with a judges award for her tumbling skills.
The Moonraker club will be introducing a pre-school programme for children aged 18 months up to four years from September 5.
Classes will run at the Olympiad Leisure Centre on Monday and Friday mornings between 9.30am-noon.
