CORSHAM School’s astroturf pitch staged the School Games Level Three hockey competition, supported by England Hockey and Wiltshire Hockey.
With Ellie Spurrier, from the National Young Umpires Promising list, officiating along with Corsham School pupils, the competition was played in two pools, with nine teams taking part.
Holt and Winterslow emerged from the two groups to contest the final, Holt being crowned champions after a 2-0 victory.
- WASP, in partnership with Wiltshire Council, are offering a Sports Coach Bursary Scheme.
The aim of the scheme is to assist with increasing capacity for coaches at all levels and environments within Wiltshire and Swindon.
Any individual who is interested in coaching at UKCC Levels 1-3 may apply for up to 50 per cent funding of the actual course cost.
Since April of last year, WASP have awarded 43 coach bursaries in 12 different sports, totalling £4,981.
