CHIPPENHAM’S Moonraker Gymnastics club were on fine form at the Wiltshire Grades event.

The club’s 19 participants took part in set exercises on the four pieces of apparatus aiming for a specific pass mark at each of the five levels.

At Grade Four, three club members took part in their first competition, Mia Pardoe and Katherine Allday achieving a pass and Florrie Strange a distinction and second place overall.

A further 10 club members took part at Grade Three.

Beatrice Carrington, Jocelyn Chillitupa, Emily Draper, Amber Tiley, Laura Findlay, Isobel Watt, Ketie Shepperdson, Holly Parker and Chloe Searle all achieved a pass.

Meanwhile Eva Falcone-Healy was awarded a distinction and was also in second place overall.

All three Moonraker Grade Two gymnasts placed in the top eight overall, with Emily Macklin-Day and Teigan Higgs receiving a pass, while Freya Gleed achieved a distinction and third place overall.

The sole representative at Grade One – Tegan Seed - was awarded a pass for the grade.

Finally, at Pre-Level, the hardest grade, Mabel Smaller and Amelia Scott both earned passes, Scott placing fourth overall.

Chippenham Moonraker Gymnastics is a British Gymnastics registered club with Sport England Clubmark accreditation.

The club meets regularly at the Olympiad Leisure Centre offering gymnastic activity at all levels for girls and boys from four years up to adults age.
