Derry Hill United Girls issue player appeal
9:44am Monday 15th June 2009 in Sport
Girls’ football is one of the fastest-growing sports in the country.
And right now, there’s a great chance to get involved, because Derry Hill United are looking to recruit new players. We offer the chance for girls of all ages to train and play, so come along and join us.
Whether you want to play for fun, to take up a new interest, to get fit, to meet new friends, Derry Hill offers opportunities to suit you. For those who just want to have fun we have teams that play friendlies and in local Leagues. For those who want to develop their skills and progress to a higher level of football we have an outstanding record of player development with girls going on to play for Bristol Academy, Reading FC and the Wiltshire Centre Of Excellence.
To find out more, come along to our special football taster sessions where you can join in a fun training session which will include a skills session, small-sided games and some time in our famous "Inflatable Football Pitch". Kick-off at 6.30pm at Bowood Sports Ground, Studley on Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th June, final whistle is 8pm. Be sure to bring trainers or football boots.
