U9 League Cup

IN-FORM Bradford Town Youth Pumas were defeated 2-1 by Castle Combe Colts White in their preliminary round tie.

Bradford took the lead, but Toby Bridgeman-Daw drove home an equaliser to send the game into extra time, where Bradley Beck volleyed a winner.

Trowbridge Wanderers Albion and home side FC Calne cancelled each other out in the first half, Shay Grant scoring for the visitors.

After the break Leo Dominy gave an exceptional performance, completing his hat-trick for a 4-1 win.

AFC Corsham Leopards and Castle Combe Colts Black needed penalties to separate them.

The Colts took the lead from a deflected shot from Brandon Mullins which crept past Daniel Jones.

The Leopards levelled in the second period through Riley Parsons and, in the shootout, Leopards won 3-2 despite the two saves from Rowan Stevens.

The successful penalty takers for Combe were Ollie Curtis, Connor Cooper and Morgan Down. Leopards strikes came from James Scollen and Luke Van de Burgt.

Bishops Cannings crashed out at Warminster Highbury Reds losing 4-1.

Arthur Sorley was the stand out performer for Bishops Cannings, for whom Aidan Hunt netted.

U10s Daniel Higgs Memorial Trophy

LARKHALL Athletic progressed after running out 3-0 first-round winners at home against gallant Trowbridge Town Pumas, Ben Allen scored twice, including a penalty, and Flynn Hawkins added the other.

Trowbridge Town Youth Lions reached the next round thanks to goals from Aiden Wynne, George Blagden and Harrison Simmonds in their 3-0 win at Chippenham Town Youth Yellow.

U11 League Cup

FC CHIPPENHAM pulled clear in the second half to claim a 9-1 preliminary round success over Warminster Highbury Stripes.

First-half goals from Matt Bell, Luca Riozzi and Sam Sheehan gave them a 3-1 lead, man of the match Ethan Harding scoring a hat-trick in the second period. Tyler Eddy and Eddie Slee, twice, also netted.

U12 League Cup

WARMINSTER Highbury Reds ran out 4-0 preliminary round winners over newcomers Alderbury Meanwhile, AFC Corsham twice came from behind to take Frome into extra time, before claiming an 8-4 triumph.

Daniel Watts, a Scott Taylor hat-trick, two from Ben Selman, Ollie Chappell and Dru Mitchell were the Corsham goal scorers.

U13 Jack Goodenough Memorial Trophy

TROWBRIDGE Town Youth Yellow gave a solid team performance for their 8-1 preliminary round home win against Warminster Highbury Blacks.

David Russam and Sam Robbins both scored twice, Lewis Bridgeman, Jack Knight, Josh Rowe and an own goal completing the victory.

U14 Tim Kerr Memorial Trophy

LARKHALL Athletic moved into the first round proper after running out 6-1 winners against visitors Worton & Cheverell with goals from Hamish Kale, two each from Brandon Toby Little and Alfie Mahon and an Alex Pippard strike.
