TOMMY Bridewell reflected on a mixed weekend at the fourth round of the MCE British Superbike Championship at Snetterton.
The Etchilhampton rider, 23, claimed sixth place in the first of two races at the Norfolk circuit, recovering after a brief excursion off the track having started in 10th spot.
That placed him ninth on the grid for the second race, but having changed the set-up of his bike, he crashed out on lap five while lying fourth, suffering a small finger injury.
Bridewell said: “It was an up and down day. In race one, we had a few chassis issues but still managed to come sixth.
“In race two I was fourth and then I made a small mistake and crashed. I hope we can return at the front in Knockhill (June 22-24) and battle for a podium there.’’
Bridewell is eighth overall in the standings.
