CAMBRIDGE’S second goal on Saturday was frustrating but there isn’t much we can do about it.

If you see someone down injured, you should stop the play and when three or four of their players went down screaming, the referee stopped the play. You just want a bit of consistency from referees, that’s all you ask for.

Kevin Sawyer doesn’t usually get injured much but he’s gone down after feeling his groin in the first half and we’re hoping that it’s not going to keep him out for a long time. We’ll be assessing him at training tonight.

We’ve got Tommy Smith who can come in but it’s just how our luck goes that we lose players in key positions, like our goalkeeper and one of our main centre-forwards (Lewis Powell).

We’ve got Luke (Gullick) back for a little while as he looks at a few other things. He’s a good kid and he knows the dressing room and the club very well.

We’ve got another tough game this weekend with the game at Leamington.

They’re are a very good side and they’re always there in the shake-up at the top of the table.

They’ve made some good signings in Jon Adams and Liam Daly and their striker, Jacob Blyth, has played on trial for Birmingham City reserves and scored against Southampton last week.

We had a tight game against them last time and we missed a penalty in that one – last season we also had two draws with them.

We’re going to have to be at our best because they’re a side I expect to finish in the play-off places.

Ashley Williams is 50/50 for the game because he’s got a hamstring problem and Nathan Rudge is also struggling with a knee problem – he’s been to see a specialist this week.

Scott Lye’s also a little while away still and he needs to do a lot more running before he’ll be ready to come back into the fold.
