I’M STILL disappointed about the way that we approached the game at Barwell last weekend and hopefully we’ll learn our lesson from it.

You can talk about shapes or systems but defending starts from the front and we weren’t disciplined or rigid enough in defence at all.

We didn’t make ourselves hard to beat and maybe because we were creating chances quite regularly, the lads thought it was going to be easy.

The referee admitted after the game that he was wrong with the corner decision and then he chose to show a red card to Toby Osman for what was just a coming together, so that didn’t help either.

We’ve just got to work on things and make sure that that we’re a lot more disciplined this weekend against Banbury.

We know that they’ll come to us looking to get a result – they might be looking to hit us on the counter or capitalise on a set-play.

They’ve had a few indifferent results recently but I think they had a good start to the season and were up in the top five for the first four or five weeks.

I was sad to lose Kye Holly this week because he’s a good lad and fantastic player but sometimes players just want to go and play football, so we wish him all the best at Bishop Sutton.

We’ve got good cover in that area with Iain Harvey – he’s been back in training this week so we’re just waiting to see if he has any reaction after his hamstring injury.

Lewis Powell is alright to carry on playing for now but he still has a bit a bone floating around in his knee and we’re waiting for him to get the date for his operation through.

Jack Pitcher and Mani (Randhawa) have got slight knocks but Greg Tindle should be ready to come back in a week to ten days and he should help to bring that rigidity we need.
