It’s difficult to sum up the game at Cambridge because we played well in patches but committed some criminal errors.

Nathan Rudge lost his marker for the first goal, Ashley Williams gave the ball away cheaply for the second and then Steve Casey and Rudge uncharacteristically got in each others’ way for the third.

It seems like we keep on getting punished when we make mistakes – it happened against Brackley and it happened against Weymouth too.

The general standard of our play hasn’t been good enough offensively and that’s something that we need to try and put right.

Our injury list seems to be getting longer all the time too, with Steve Casey and James Guthrie looking like they’ll both be out for a few weeks.

Aaron Wilson’s seeing the specialist for a cartilage problem, Iain Harvey’s still got a hamstring injury and Kye Holly’s not fully fit.

Greg Tindle and Shaun Lamb aren’t ready to come back yet and Curtis Jack has moved to London now – we’re hoping to be able to call on him as and when though.

Aaron Cornwall had gone to Radstock Town to get a few games but I’m probably down to about 12 players at the moment and he’ll have to stay in our plans.

Other sides will be looking to see if we’re going to crumble under the pressure and we can’t let that happen – we need to stick together and come out the other side.

Bedford will be a tough side because we know that they’ll come and put ten men behind the ball and we have to deal with that better than when we played against Brackley after they’d had a man sent off.

We’ve then got a long away trip next Tuesday at Bashley but we’re still going into every game looking for three points and we won’t lose the faith.
