I’M a bit disappointed about the result on Tuesday but I can’t fault the attitude or the commitment of my players at all.

After the game, I could see how disappointed they all were and it was so refreshing to hear how much they wanted to win and how determined they are to go on and try and win our last five games.

They could have given up the ghost a few weeks ago and said that we didn’t have a chance of making the play-offs but they always give me their all and they won’t give up on doing it.

Whatever happens this season, it will be a great achievement after everything they’ve been through.

Tiverton set themselves up not to concede a goal and our problem is that we’re probably missing that tiny bit of quality to unlock defences in tight games like that – the table doesn’t lie and if you look at our goals scored column, it’s not that far ahead of the goals conceded.

We’ve lost players like Jonny Davies and Ben Highmore this year, who would have probably added a few more goals to the team and with the budget we’ve got, we haven’t been able to go out and bring in more of those kind of players.

I was delighted with Saturday’s performance (against Chesham) though and it shows that when a team comes to Hardenhuish Park and plays open, attacking football, you get really entertaining games.

I won’t stop believing in my players because I think they’ve been superb all season and they’ll keep going to the end.

We’ve got Stourbridge this weekend and we always knew that was going to be one of our toughest games.

They’ve had a few indifferent results recently but they’ve beaten some of the top sides in the league – anyone is lucky to get anything there.
