CHIPPENHAM'S boys relay squad took gold and silver at the Wiltshire BAGCAT Championships. The 13/14 squad of George Claverley, Matthew Hare, Peter Holden and Jon Branston were second behind Trowbridge in the 4x100m freestyle relay, but later won the 4x100m medley relay and will chase success at the South West championships in June.

Top individual performer was Branston with three golds and a bronze and theoverall age group points win.

Other medallists included Henry Gaunt (gold 50m butterfly), Claverley (silver 100m breaststroke), Nathan Coupland (silver 200m butterfly), Tegan Cairns (bronze 200m butterfly), Tom Tennant (bronze 200m breaststroke), Holden bronze (200m butterfly) and Hare (bronze 200m IM).

There were also impressive swims by Benjamin Stephen, Robert Elliot, John Davies, Bradley Coupland, Benjamin Birkett, Luke Brown, Andrew Hare, James Tucker, Sam Miller, Owen Wilson, Puruvi Ruperel, Chloe May, Jess Stafford, Sapphire Randerson, Bryony Cairns and Harriet Olgivie.
