MALMESBURY Victoria assistant manager Ian Restell has slammed the commitment of his players after the Vics could only field ten men at the league leaders on Saturday.
Despite their man disadvantage, they kept the game goalless for around 35 minutes, before Headington ran riot.
“The commitment of players just isn’t there nowadays,” said Restell.
“We had one player who travels from Cardiff and he broke down on the M4 and another who said he had been up all night sick and then I found out the next day he was off watching another game.
“A Hellenic League team shouldn’t be starting with ten players.”
