I thought we were quite comfortable and in control (against Taunton) but, like against any team that you play against, they’re always going to create chances and I thought we defended very well.

Snodds (Chris Snoddy) has pulled off a couple of good saves at crucial times where we’ve switched off but apart from that, we missed a few decent chances and could have made it a bit more comfortable.

I think the supporters deserved a home draw in the next round too because of all the things we’ve been through in cup games this year.

We just want to keep on winning football matches and that win is a confidence booster for us ahead of Saturday’s game.

Brackley are on a fantastic run at the moment and obviously when you’re paying that kind of money every week, it’s only a matter of time until people start hitting the ground running and start putting results together.

We went there and gave a good account of ourselves and if we can put in the same performance, hopefully we can win and start pushing up the table.

The squad is looking a bit brighter and the lads are starting to get their fitness back a bit now, we’ve got a bit more competion for places now too.

Greg Tindle had a boiler problem at home and started suffering from vertigo and carbon monoxide poisoning but he’s had the weekend off and now he’s back.

Ryan O’Hara’s been training with us for a couple of weeks and he’s one we’ll try and have a look at – he can play wide left, wide right or in the middle of midfield.
