CHIPPENHAM Town's chances of lifting the Zamaretto League's Red Insure Cup have been boosted after Adie Mings' side were handed a home semi final.

The Bluebirds, who defeated Division One South & West side taunton Town last night, will host Premier Division rivals Hedesnford Town, probably on Tuesday, March 1.

Hednesford ended the unbeaten home league record of Mings' men on January 29, winning 1-0.

In the other semi final, Hemel Hempstead Town will host Cambridge City in the week commencing February 28.

The semi finals are single-leg ties and will be decided by extra time and penalties if necessary.

Dates have also been issued for the two-legged final, the first leg of which will take place on the week commencing April 4 and the second leg the following week.
