DANNY Wilson has confirmed Charlie Austin has handed in a transfer request at Swindon Town.
But the Robins manager insists that have no impact on whether or not the player moves to pastures new during the January transfer window.
The club had initially refused to 'comment on speculation' but Wilson today admitted Town were aware of Austin's intent at the beginning of the week.
"We first found out on I think it was Tuesday morning," he said.
"For me he can hand 10 requests in if he wants, it's the same for any footballer up and down the country, it doesn't really matter.
"He's committed to us, he's under contract to us for another two-and-a-half year."
Meanwhile, Wilson confirmed Town were interested in bringing Alfreton Town centre back Aden Flint to Wiltshire.
Flint is currently discussing terms at the Robins, after the 21-year-old was offered a deal by Colchester United yesterday.
