WOOTTON Bassett boss Dave Turner is targetting a minimum of four points from the next two games after watching his troops slip to a narrow 1-0 home defeat to Thame United.
Alex Stewart got the goal for the visitors but the Bassett chief was focusing on the positives.
“The result was disappointing but I still thought that we were superb. We had two one-on-ones saved and hit the bar in the last five minutes,” said Turner.
“We’ve got home games coming up (Carterton and Fairford) and we need at least four points.”
MALMESBURY Vics had games against Cheltenham Saracens (Saturday) and Newbury Town (Tuesday, Challenge Cup) postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.
