Assistant manager Simon Hillier insists neither he or Calne Town boss Robbie Lardner are feeling any pressure after an indifferent start.
Without their first choice back four of Matt Ralph, Gary Blackwood, captain Steve Casey and Chris King the Lilywhites came from behind to give them a confidence boost ahead of Saturday's home game with Barnstaple.
Hillier refuted the idea he and Lardner were under any strain. "There is only the pressure we put on ourselves," he said. "We are happy with the squad we have put together but people have looked at the start we've had because of the bad results."
Calne gave debuts to striker Matt Pratley and returning winger Owen Bryan. Just before half-time Bryan's penalty was saved but the referee adjudged the keeper had moved too soon and Dan Lardner levelled the scores.
Baker volleyed home a second half winner from 20 yards.
