SWINDON Town have announced a reshuffle of their Academy staff which sees club hero Alan McLoughlin becoming the new manager of the youth set-up.
McLoughlin, who stepped into the role last season following the departure of Jeremy Newton, will oversee all aspects of the club's Academy on a day-to-day basis, while David Farrell arrives as the new U18s manager.
Former Peterborough United midfielder Farrell, who also featured for Wycombe Wanderers and Aston Villa in his playing career, will take charge of the the club's Academy team from next season onwards.
He previously bossed the U18s and U23s at Peterborough United and will work alongside McLoughlin.
