Doncaster Rovers v Swindon Town
Is the momentum building? I sure hope so.
The Town are now unbeaten in the last three games and have back-to back wins for the first time since January 17.
Yet to keep the winning run going, we need to break the voodoo of that Purple kit. We are scheduled to use it at the Keepmoat Stadium, but it has not been a favourable colour to date.
We have been beaten on both the previous occasions that we have run out sporting our third choice kit.. So, let’s hope it’s third time lucky. We will need to bring the three points home so as to keep the pressure on those around us.
Both City and MK Dons dropped points at the weekend, though Preston are keeping up the run of results with another impressive win. They are now unbeaten in their last 8 league fixtures and they have a game in hand over us.
Providing we play our part and keep picking up points, the match on April 25th could be a winner takes all. But there is a lot of football between now and then so let’s not get too ahead of ourselves.
Another three points please Mr Copper. I don’t care how you get them, fancy football or ugly, slick passing or route one, they all count.
Come on Swindon.
