WHITE Horse Dynamos halted their losing run by grabbing a point in their home match with Devizes Town Youth in the Mid Wilts Youth League.

Both sides had chances to win the game but good goalkeeping from Dynamos players Jake Brand and then Thomas Hatton ensured the scores remained blank.

BROMHAM and visitors Worton and Cheverell enjoyed an attacking first half of end to end football with the lead being taken by Elliot Bodman, scoring directly from a corner kick.

The second half started tight with both teams defending before a Worton throw in led to Henry Dutton heading the ball into the area for Joshua Hatcher to volley into the back of the net.

Worton looked set to take the points but a long range goal from Bromham made it 2-1, setting up a nervous last five minutes as both teams continued to come close.

When the final whistle blew, Worton players were elated with their first win of the season. It was too difficult to select a man of the match as all Worton players gave 100 per cent to secure the win.

Westbury Youth took a 1-0 lead through Brad Gill in their away game against Castle Combe Colts White. After the break Gill made it 2-0 with Combe netting a consolation goal late in the game.

ROBBIE Tripp headed home following a Hadyn Campbell cross to give division leaders Biddestone the lead in their away game against second place Bradford Town Youth Whites.

But two goals from Matthew Willow either side of the interval gave Bradford a 2-1 victory. Superb defending from Ben Dell helped keep Biddestone at bay.

A Kieran Glennon hat-trick plus a super left foot strike by Joe Williamson gave Derry Hill a 4-0 victory against AFC Corsham leopards. For Derry Hill the defensive pair of Greg Bell and Sam Sunderland were outstanding, particularly in the second half when they were playing up the slope into a strong wind.

Melksham Park took a 3-0 lead at the break before going on to finish 5-0 winners in their home game against White Horse Juniors Flames. Brendon Knight, Lewis Davis, Ben Jenkins (2) and Jake Abbott scored for Park.

A VERY close game saw Caleb Collins take an early lead for home side Larkhall Athletic against Trowbridge Town Youth following a good build up from Elle Lyne and Ben Tiley.

Collins doubled Larkhall's lead before the interval. Trowbridge came out strong in the second half, reducing the deficit to 2-1, but good work from Emily Noad, Jack Tiley and Myles Lofthouse kept them at bay for the remainder of the game.

And a series of good passes from Lyne and Tiley set Collins free again setting him up for a 12 yard shot which skimmed the underside of the cross bar and into the top corner.
