SWINDON Town are looking to sign two new centre-backs, according to manager Mark Cooper.
Having lost Troy Archibald-Henville to Carlisle United today, Cooper is left with Darren Ward, Raphael Rossi Branco and youngster Curtis Da Costa to choose from at present, with the new season rapidly approaching.
Speaking to FLIC Wiltshire, the Town boss admitted that area needs attention in the transfer market most urgently.
"We are looking to bring in one, if not two new centre-backs," he said. "We want to bring them in as quick as we can but if they are loan deals, we may have to wait a week or two.
"But I would rather wait and get the right ones in, rather than rush and bring the wrong people in.
"But the recruitment drive is well underway and we want to be as quick as we can."
