NORTH Wilts progressed to the last 16 of the Yetton Plate with a 101-49 success over Isle of Wedmore on Saturday.
The Chippenham club’s ladies team secured a clash against Devon opponents South Hams on the neutral green at Taunton Deane a week on Saturday (10.30am) as they completed a clean sweep of all four rinks.
At Westcroft, Alex Jacobs skipped Jan Tombs, Jane Taylor and Irene Button to a 20-14 success over Dawn Harrison’s quartet.
Meanwhile, Janet Hardie led Molly Manning, Viv Baskerville and Barbar Shepheard to a 25-9 success over Maureen Hordle.
In Somerset, Fizz Mace’s four – including Gillian Lillicrap, Isabel Dawson and Kath Lloyd – secured a 26-10 success.
Sue Cooke’s rink, also including Norma Rowden, Val Moulton and Margaret Walker – standing in for Jean Collier who had torn ligaments – wrapped up a 30-16 triumph over Margaret Barron.
