MARLBOROUGH progressed to their second Dorset & Wilts final in two years at The Common on Saturday.
The home side, who won last year’s Dorset & Wilts Vase and reached the last eight of the national Vase, booked a place in the final of the Plate against Dorset Dockers with the five-try success.
Led by a man of the match display from flanker Will Tuner, Will Grant scored a brace of tries, with a pair of sniping runs after turnovers, while wing Laurence Baker also crossed twice.
Jonny Mantle touched down following fine play from Nathan Morgan and Rhys Butler.
Morgan added three conversions and a penalty, although Marlborough also had to absorb the loss of two players to yellow cards.
Marlborough are still looking for new players. See pitchero.com/clubs/marlborough.
