EVERLEIGH trainer Richard Hannon is set to be double-handed in the Prix du Moulin with both Olympic Glory and Havana Gold pencilled in for the Group One event on Sunday week.

Olympic Glory was last seen finishing a narrow second in the Prix Jacques Le Marois at Deauville last month while Havana Gold will be dropping back to a mile after finishing only fifth over 10 furlongs at the same track on his latest outing.

Hannon's son and assistant Richard jnr said: "We look like being two-handed in the Prix du Moulin at Longchamp on Sunday week, with both Olympic Glory and Havana Gold pencilled in for that race.

"They have both done well on their forays to France, and, hopefully, one of them might get lucky again, though a dead-heat would be even better," he told richardhannonracing.tv.

Olympic Glory could also be a possible Breeders' Cup contender along with Toronado, who is reported to be making good progress after his Juddmonte International flop at York's Ebor meeting.

Hannon jnr said: "Toronado is back cantering after his hiccup at York and, hopefully, he might yet make the QEII at Ascot, though both him and Olympic Glory will also come into the equation for the Breeders Cup."

The Hannon team are also busy preparing their runners for next week's St Leger meeting at Doncaster, although Vintage Stakes winner Toormore is not a certain participant.

"Thunder Strike will go for the Flying Childers at Doncaster next week, but we have not yet decided whether to run Toormore in the Champagne Stakes. We will work him at the weekend and take a view after that," Hannon added.
