CHIPPENHAM Park will start life in the Toolstation Western League First Division with a home clash against Shepton Mallet next month.

Park, the feeder team to Chippenham Town, were accepted into the Toolstation League after the conclusion of last season and will start at Hardenhuish Park against the Somerset side on Saturday, August 10.

The fixture list for the First Division was finalised this afternoon after the publication of Chippenham Town's Calor League Southern Premier Division fixtures.

Park, managed by Dave Ferris, are also at home for their second match, with Bradford Town the visitors for a Wiltshire midweek derby on August 13.

Elsewhere on the opening day, Corsham Town travel to Barnstaple Town, with Bradford hosting Cribbs Friends Life.

Calne Town are at home to Wells City, with Devizes Town entertaining league new boys Ashton & Backwell United.

Westbury United, under the stewardship of former Chippenham Town coach Matty Bown, travel to Portsihead Town, with Warminster, now led by John Phillips, hosting Oldland Abbotonians.

Other derbies in the first midweek fixtures list include Warminster hosting Corsham on Wednesday, August 14, with Calne going to Westbury a day earlier.

In the Premier Division, Melksham Town travel to Hallen.
