TOP-FLIGHT motocross action comes to Rushmead Raceway, in Marshfield, on Sunday with round 6 of the Phoenix Tools Premier Motocross Championships.
In the Expert Open class, Luke Hawkins, from Radstock, leads the Championship by 12 points as the series enters its second half.
Shane Carless, from Wales, is second just ahead of last year’s champion Jamie Skuse, from Calne.
Other riders include Josh Wyatt (Chippenham), Jordan Carter (Trowbridge), Jake Owen (Bath) plus Bristol’s John May, Loukas Maggio and Luke Mellows.
Also featured will be the Over 35, 40 and 50 class with riders from past years including the likes of Mark Wilde, Keith Hanson, Mark Roberts, Rob Lewis plus locals like Simon Hart, from Chippenham.
Rushmead Raceway will be signposted off the M4 at Junction 18 then off the A46 Bath Road, with the first race at 10.15am.
