TIME is running out for you to nominate a young sports person for a £500 grant from Gazette & Herald charity Bag4Sport Foundation.

If you know someone who is a budding talent then fill in the form at the bottom of the page and send it in by June 30.

To make it possible for Bag4Sport Foundation to give these grants and many others like them it needs to raise cash by holding a variety of challenges and events.

Cyclists are needed to take part in the Devizes to Paris ride which will leave the Market Place on August 17 and arrive in Paris on August 19.

To help riders prepare for the event, training sessions are to be held every Sunday morning at 9am starting on June 16 from the Bag4Sport office at Roundway Business Park, Hopton Park Industrial Estate, Devizes.

If you would like to take part in the cycle ride and the training email mail@bag4sport.co.uk to find out more.

A few extra runners are needed to take part in the London 10k on July 14. Bag4Sport has secured places in this popular race which takes in many iconic sites in the centre of the capital.

Teams are also needed for a five-a-side football tournament to be held at Devizes Football Club in Nursteed Road, Devizes on June 29.

Over the next few weeks the Gazette will be featuring youngsters who have been nominated for a grant. You can nominate your own child, a pupil you teach or a youngster you coach, but we will need to know why they need help and their achievements to date.

Any youngster up to the age of 16 can be nominated but they must not already be receiving a grant from the Lottery or their sporting body.

We will pick one from each of the Gazette’s three edition areas – Devizes, Marlborough and North Wiltshire – to receive a grant of £500 each.

Fill in the form in this week's Gazette and Herald to nominate the person of your choice. Full details at bag4sport.co.uk.
