Nathan Rudge has revealed his first summer signing
CHIPPENHAM Town have snapped up midfielder Harley Purnell from Yate Town.
The 24-year-old, who can also operate at right-back, will link up with former team-mate Tom Knighton, who made the switch to the Bluebirds from FA Cup giant-killers Yate midway through last season.
After Alex Kite followed Ashley Williams in signing for Mangotsfield United this week, Chippenham manager Nathan Rudge is expecting the rest of last season's squad to remain at Hardenhuish Park.
Meanwhile, the Bluebirds planned pre-season friendly match against Mangotsfield United on August 10 has been cancelled.
