CHIPPENHAM Town defender Alex Kite has signed for Mangotsfield United.
The 24-year-old defender, who first came to the Bluebirds on loan from Bristol Rovers in November 2008, has followed in the footsteps of Ashley Williams, who also moved to the Evo-Stik League Division One South & West Mangos last week.
Kite signed permanently for Chippenham at the start of 2010-2011 season and will link up with a host of former Bluebirds players, such as Lewis Powell, Shaun Lamb and Josh Egan at Mangotsfield.
The defender is also set for a quick reunion with Nathan Rudge's side, who host the Mangos at Hardenhuish Park in their final pre-season friendly of the summer on August 10.
Meanwhile, Bluebirds winger Joe McClennan, who joined the club in February, has indicated that he'll be staying with Chippenham next season.
