COLERNE made it nine wins out of nine in Dorset & Wilts Three North as they put down the challenge of battling Minety.

The home side were resolute in defence and it wasn’t until 25 minutes in that Shaun Allen battered his way over, Ryan Willcox adding the conversion.

That settled the visitors and Allen crossed for a carbon copy of his opening try three minutes later, with the conversion again added.

Minety roared back but Colerne held firm and added a third try as Joe Cattelona ploughed over from close range, Willcox adding the extras.

With Minety losing players to their first team on the adjacent pitch, the bonus point try arrived early in the second half as full-back Jeremy Dicks crossed after a neat dummy move, Willcox converting.

Willcox himself rounded off the scoring, first taking a pass from John Wheeler to barge over, then receiving the ball from Michael Gardiner-Catlow to go over again.
