CASH, jewellery and a car were stolen when a family home in Royal Wootton Bassett was burgled on Valentine’s Day.
Wiltshire Police have issued an appeal for information about the incident, which happened between 1.30pm and 6pm in Washbourne Road.
“We have recovered the vehicle and its currently being forensically examined,” said police. “We are keeping an open mind as to whether this burglary is linked to any others in the area and our enquiries are continuing.
“We’d like to hear from anyone who may have information – did you see or hear anything suspicious in the area during these times?”
On January 29 a treasured RAF long service and good conduct medal was stolen along with jewellery and tools from a house in Longleaze between 5.30pm and 9am the following morning. Anyone with information can call police on 101 or use Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
