A BRASS band will be hitting the high notes in a village near Devizes on Saturday (16).

Royal Wootton Bassett Brass Band will play at St Matthew's Church, Rowde, to raise money for the roof restoration fund.

It will be the band's fourth performance in the village and it has gained quite a following among those who enjoy its wide range of music that goes from pop to classical.

The band, which was formed in 1980, is a regular at park concerts and fetes across the south west.

Saturday's programme will include its full repertoire of styles. Also appearing will be the choir from Rowde Primary Academy. Tickets costs £7, £5 for concessions and £3 for children aged 14 and under. The price includes refreshments.
