LANES of the M4 eastbound between junctions 17 and 16 have now reopened following a three-vehicle crash shortly before 11.30am.
It is not thought that anyone was seriously injured in the crash but paramedics checked over everyone involved. The incident involved a white box van, a black Renault Clio and a grey Dacia.
Highways England said all lanes were reopened after 12.15pm and delays were easing.
Queuing traffic on the M4 westbound between junctions 16 and 17 earlier was blamed on motorists slowing to look at the accident opposite.
